What surprises me ...I don't need to translate this. What surprises me is that so few people know about this tool and the power it contains. <BR/>It should be promoted more so that people understand how to improve the effectiveness of meetings. About 2 years ago I introduced this process in a company's department. This department was located in 4 sites in 3 European countries. In a team building process, the department head organised his weekly telephone conference by using a combination of the Six Thinking Hats and questions (embedded in each hat). The result was that not only did the department increase its effectiveness, he also gained a profound understanding of the way people worked and why certain things were said. This was then used to find the strengths and weaknesses of people and led to a redistribution of work packages.
